Malaysia - Car accident - How to do insurance claim
Malaysia is a place where some people drive recklessly. Even if you are a careful driver, someone might just hit you anything. Below are some real case studies so that you know what to do :
Motorcycle hit Car case study
This one always happen and the car driver is always in the disadvantage position even if you were hit by that stupid motorcyclist.The motorcyclist will always blame you.
In this case, car owner can't claim the motorcyclist's insurance. you have to claim you own insurance (if you are in comprehensive policy). However, unfortunately, you can't claim own damage NO fault claim because this claim is not valid for motorcycle, taxi and bus.
As a result, your NCD will be forfeited. :-(
what is even worse is, if it's just some minor damage and you want to fork out you own money to repair it, the motorcyclist still can claim your insurance and you NCD still will be gone.
this is a pathetic case if your NCD is at 55%.
